This is an SD (super-deformed) spin-off of Naruto Shippuden, featuring Rock Lee. Of course, the most important supporting characters are Lee's teammates, Tenten and Neji, and their sensei, Might Guy. But any of the familiar characters from the Naruto franchise make appearances, including Naruto himself. (In this series, Naruto is Lee's rival both as a ninja and in their mutual unrequited crushes on Sakura. And yet, Naruto and Lee are still pretty good friends.) Plus there's a narrator, who sometimes interacts with the characters (and there's lots of other kinds of fourth wall-breaking). And there are ridiculous skits (which puts me in mind of Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo). The show also kind of reminds me of Super Hero Squad Show.
Um... so... Lee's personality from the regular series is super Flanderized, which is what leads to most of this show's redonkulousness. His skits usually require Neji to play a girl, which Neji can't stand, but at least he's sedate about it. And Tenten is basically the only sane character, so she always reacts to all the foolishness with intense shock and annoyance. And yet all the characters remain friends. And even the most dangerous villains from the regular series (particularly Orochimaru) are fairly incompetent and ridiculous, here. And... man, I don't know what else to say, but I cannot stress enough how redonkulous and hilarious the show is. Oh, and of course I like all the opening and closing theme songs.
