This is an updated version of an older anime series that's been done at least a couple times before, in the 60s and the 70s. I never saw either of those, but this anime, like Kikaider, definitely has a 70s/modernized look to it. There are these nine people who have been made into cyborg soldiers by a terrorist organization called Black Ghost, to serve its evil purposes. But they, along with one of Black Ghost's scientists who helped create the cyborgs, escape. Black Ghost then sends a series of cyborgs to destroy them or reclaim them or something. There's not much I can really tell you, because I never got a chance to see much of the show. It can be kind of lame, I guess, but I still kind of liked it a bit. I wouldn't mind catching the whole series sometime. I did like the closing theme song, "Genesis of Next" by Globe (which somehow reminds me a bit of "A Little Something Refreshing" by No Doubt).
